My top 10 movie List is not much different than my Ultimate stoner/drug movie list. Which hasn't changed much since Highschool except for a couple new addtions. Hiting #10 is Spinal Tap the Rocumentary and at the top is Repo Man. You can only imagine what's in-between. What are your 10 ten drug slash music movies? Dude where is my car gets honorable mention. So think hard.
From WTOP News Spinal Tap is back, and this time the band wants to help save the world from global warming. The mock heavy metal group immortalized in the 1984 mockumentary, "This is Spinal Tap," will reunite for a performance at Wembley Stadium in London as part of the Live Earth concerts scheduled worldwide for July 7. The original members of Spinal Tap will be there: guitarist Nigel Tufnel (played by Christopher Guest), singer David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean... MORE
Yeah, this isn't really a Christmas post at all, but a wonderful gift to all my fellow bassists out there.
Spinal Tap, and every bassist known to man. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there.
If you have not seen the movie, "This Is Spinal Tap", well then you just ain't living. This Is Spinal Tap is a 1984 mockumentary directed by Rob Reiner and starring members of the semi-fictional heavy-metal glam rock band Spinal Tap. This film is number 64 on Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies", and number 29 on AFI's 100 Years... 100 Laughs.Fast forward to Sunday, and USA Today reported today that Spinal Tap, will reunite for a performance at Wembley Stadium in London as part o... A classic track from a totally underrated band. They gave us so many great songs, from Big Bottom to Sex Farm to Tonight, I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight. I still love listening to their album Shark Sandwich too (even though it got terrible reviews). It was way ahead of its time. Anyhoo, All hail the Tap!!
For all you who say Live Earth sucked, tell me you didn't smile when the greatest metal band of all time came on
Big Bottom indeed!!!
This is my favourite Spinal Tap song.
I am tall and went to an all girls school. I wish Spinal Tap had burst in to our gym class singing this.
I also won't behave the way a big girl should and metaphorically dance with my boyfriend's leg when he's busy, by distracting him one way or another.
