Spanish Prisoners
Spanish Prisoners are a musical collective who are very much dominated by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Leonid Maymind, who sings, composes, and produces all of the material. A Latvian native who moved to the United States with his family at the age of three, he sings versatile, thoughtful, and slightly dark indie pop-folk-rock on Spanish Prisoners' 2008 debut album, Songs to Forget.
