I find it to be extremely distressing that I can't find the lyrics to any of South's songs except "Paint the Silence" online. It's like they don't really exist, except for one song from The OC soundtrack. I hate that. However, I don't hate that today is my last day of work until Tuesday, and if my schedule doesn't get messed up, then my schedule for that day isn't bad at all. I also don't hate that I got my paycheck and that means I can buy season four of both Buffy... MORE
The wacky kids from South - who have, based on the evidence of their most recent album, most certainly heard New Order before - have a new DVD coming out in October. (Not sure if it's UK-only or if it will have a broader release.) Anyway, a kind YouTuber has uploaded a track off of it for your listening/viewing pleasure.

So rare, 'tis, that I bother going back to a band that disappoints me with its debut. (Which is, of course, very different from discovering a band mid- or post-career and getting the old "stay away from their earliest stuff" warning, which happens now and then though not as often as it should in our SUCCEED NOW! world, where few bands get that second chance.)
