Soulsavers‘ genre-bending album of wide-ranging majesty, Broken, was released digitally last week on Columbia Records. Its physical release date is still being determined. Joining founding production team Rich Machin and Ian Glover on Soulsavers’ haunting third album was an inspirational group of musicians who give the album a more live and open feel than their [...]
Not that this is new news or anything, if you like Soulsavers, but I didn't know about it until I decided to do a Mark Lanegan post and looked at his myspace. I don't know if I really like Soulsavers much, but I'm basically into 2 things: ice cream, and Mark Lanegan. So I deemed it post-worthy content.
Rich Machin and Ian Glover have returned with a third LP under the Soulsavers name, Broken. You will thank me later. http://www.myspace.com/soulsavers
Soulsavers is a UK production duo. For their second album, they enlisted Mark Lanegan to co-write many of the songs and to sing on eight of them. I like this one a lot.
Today, well, I guess its yesterday by now, a fire in the hills above my house sent thick smoke billowing perpendicularly along my street. The smoke blotted out the sun and colored the air around me a very deceptively peaceful red hue. I had just received the Soulsavers' new cd 'It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land' in the mail, popped the cd into my car's cd player, rolled down the ...
