Hands up anyone who can remember any Skunk Anansie songs other than 'Weak (As I Am)'? Thought so. So apparently, as of right now, at this very moment, in 2009, Skunk Anansie, the band that we had long forgotten existed (though a faded image of a shining bald head still rests somewhere in our nightmares) are back.
News of Skunk Anansie’s return to action almost 10 years after breaking up, albeit with the S.C.A.M moniker, has made me nostalgic. The band’s mid-90s releases coincided with my teenage years, a period where I was going to three or four gigs a week and devouring new music at a ridiculous rate. They were also [...]
HOLY FUCKING SHITBALLS, how the fucking fuck did I manage to miss the news that Skunk Anansie have reunited?!?!If you don’t know this band, fuck you. They were amazing. ARE amazing. I am now going to have pray ever night that they come tour the States. Preferably as support for Faith No More. Or Living [...]

I was very, very excited to learn that Skunk Anansie have reunited. But judging from the comments left below my post, the vast majority of you were not. Some of my favorite observations included “you’re a faggot,” “Axl=stroke,” and, my personal favorite, “you would love a band just because they have a black singer.” Which [...]
Remember that screaming bald-headed woman in the pic above? That's the lead singer of British 90s alternative group Skunk Anansie. Her frightening visage was all over MuchMusic and other video channels at the time. Far scarier than any Scary Spice.I have no idea what's become of her and her band, and quite frankly I'm too lazy to look it up on Wikipedia. So this week I ask, whatever happened to
