First off, I call dibs on using "Punks in the Beerlight" as a band name 10 years from now. This record is really hard to describe. For one who listens casually, much may be lost on initial spins. It's a folk-punk-countrified mess of a record, and I don't mean that as a bad thing. What holds it all together is Dave Berman's oddly engaging lyrics and intruiging delivery.
