Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical and minimalist elements. The band is known for its ethereal sound and lead singer Jónsi’s falsetto. Some of the band's contemporaries include múm and Amiina; both of which hail from the same creative and vibrant Icelandic post-rock music scene.

I love it when artists do things like this. Sigur Rós has recently uploaded the full movie Heima for their fans on YouTube. There is also an unreleased clip that can be downloaded from their website. Respect.

For the first time in a long while I walked to work. And it was GREAT .
The view from my usual lookout spot was particularly fine, correctly presaging a mild, clear and glassy calm day.
