Severed Heads' early focus on free-form experimentation is still prevalent on Come Visit the Big Bigot, though the noise and effects are compromised slightly by their rhythmic bass, synth-pop of moderate tempo, and loping basslines. It's an interesting collision -- the ice-cream sludge of warped vocals and distorted noise on the title track, or the incisor-sharp percussion that introduces an odd cabaret vocal by Tom Ellard on "Confidence."
