So like the scene from "Office Space" my boss comes up to me last week and tells me he had to fire some people and that we were going to have to "fill in some spots" on the schedule. so i had to work all day today. im a cook at a fancy little Italian restaurant, so that means open and close shifts squeezed next to 3 other guys 2 feet from an oven spitting out 426 degrees. mmm mmm toasty. this song got me through the day. I was going through my bookshelf the other day and found this gem I read about a year ago. It's called So You Wanna Be A Rock'n'Roll Star:How I Machine-Gunned a Roomful of Record Executives, and Other True Tales From a Drummer’s Life by Jacob Slichter.Jacob is the drummer for Semisonic...remember Closing Time? I just heard his duet with NZ songstress Bic Runga for the first time in years today and have since dug out my Semisonic collection. Are there more than the 2 albums I have? Feeling Strangely Fine & All About Chemistry. I also have a digital version of the Pleasure EP...
I was in a state of pure bliss that was only renewed by the announcement of a Stone Sour 2007 Australian tour!

the album feeling strangely fine by semisonic earns tony danzas seal of approval. picked this album up the other day used for 3 dollars. i dont know who "KC" is, but they felt the need to put their initials on the cd in white-out. in any case, they have already started out in the negatives on the cool point scale just for the fact that they sold this cd back to the store. such fools we live amongst. i recommend this cd to anyone who sees it for 3 dollars in a used music st...
