I just want to mention how incredibly excited I am that Sebadoh (the original lineup!) are reuniting and will be going on tour in '07. This is amazing. March 31st I will be a puddle of drool at Webster Hall in NYC. I wonder who I have to pay and how much to get my band on that show. hah.
Shuffle playlist stuff can be lame, but (surprise) Lou's well listened and has opinions. You'll learn a thing or two (and add some to your download queue) after parsing. Check it at A.V. Club .~~
I get this feeling sometimes that people think I only listen to electronic music and Japanese music. Lately, it's kind of been like that. Kaleef's lovely post this morninghttp://mog.com/kaleef/blog_post/88880got me to thinking...which is always a dangerous thing, i realize, about life and my impeccable sense of bad timing. Its such a bittersweet thing...This one is for K...thank...
I'm thoroughly bored with a lot of the new music I got last month. My last post was no exception. It happens. I feel like posting something I do like. I love Sebadoh. Every once in a while I get sentimental and put one of their cd's on. They blew my teeny mind in the early 90's. I used to play this song over and over and over again. Still love it.
I was sitting here reading an email from a friend concerning the Sebadoh show in Louisville,KY that I was originally going to go to, but Coachella just got TOO expensive. The entire email is basically telling me how amazing it was...and to rub salt in the wound, my mp3 player plays like three Sebadoh songs in an hour, while on shuffle...EVIL!!
