I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited about Say Hi (aka Eric Elbogen) new album Oohs & Ahhs . Firstly, great song. Secondly, a couple great films Saints and Soldiers, Jeremiah Johnson, and you and me and everyone we know. Sorry for such a crappy short post but I'm utterly tired. Feast on the words of the dead and your life will pass on-bye.-dnl

I put the Say Hi album in my top 10 last year and Eric Elbogen keeps getting better with each album, his lyrics more clever and his songs more graceful in their simplicity. The forthcoming album, Ooohs & Ahhs, is already getting some buzz. It's due out through Barsuk Records March 3rd and will be followed [...]

I saw Say Hi To Your Mom last night at the Rock & Roll Hotel in DC... it was a great show. They are really good live, and the set was a good sampling of some of their best tunes, even though they only got to play for about 45 minutes. They are currently on tour with +/- and Bishop Allen. Check them out if they are coming your way. :)

After changing their name - not hard to see why - Say Hi (previously Say Hi To Your Mom) are taking their fuzzy, indie-pop antics over to Barsuk Records. The Seattle based band are all set to release their sixth album Ooh's & Aah's on March 3rd of next year which will offically be released by their new label Barsuk.

Say Hi (Previously known as Say Hi To Your Mom) is one person as an artist but swells to a collective when touring live. Main man Eric Ellbogen is known to be a genius in both lyrical and instrumental terms so we managed to chase him down (if diving from a third story window and landing on top of the man is defined as "chasing down") and got him to answer a few of our questions about his appear...
