I recently re-connected with an old friend of mine from Kentucky. It had been a while since we last spoke and it wasn't long at all before the conversation turned to music. Turns out we like a lot of the same bands (Death Cab, Camera Obscura, and of course Kentucky natives My Morning Jacket), but we also like a lot of bands and artists from our local area.
