All Music GuideThis is sophisticated country comedy with a twist. Based around Roy D. Mercer's "prank" phone calls, it is hard to figure out if Mercer is serious or not. You can't help but feel sorry for the people on the other end of the phone line, as it seems many are unsuspecting victims. "Modelin' Job," "Septic Tank," and "Spring Fever" are a hoot.
