Rogue Wave's third album, 2007's Asleep at Heaven's Gate is a highly polished modern rock album that mixes the arena-ready sound of groups like Coldplay with the highly emotional approach of bands like Red House Painters and comes up with a sound that wouldn't be out of place on the soundtrack of any number of primetime network dramas. Where previous albums by the band have been more intimate affairs, the large scope of this album positions it for a possible mainstream break out.
It was such a fantastic time. Went to china headed back visiting home Thailand then proceeded to Vietnam and now come back to Cambodia. Nothing much I just wanna share your guys what i saw. CopycatColonial
last night i had the pleasure of seeing one of my favorite bands play. the day started at school, with the concert being the only thing on my mind. after just getting by a test on musical measures and bars, and completely bombing a bio quiz; i headed home to get ready (skipping a math exam). i picked up my friend camilla, and we arrived at the venue at doors open... or so they said. there was n...
my car broke down the other day. lame... but while its in the shop, im borrowing my aunts suv. although its nicer than my jeep, the cd player is broken. apparently SOMEONE tried stuffing a cd into one of the slots of the 6-disc changer with a cd already in it. so now i have to resort to listening to the radio. which is tedious since i just bought the new rogue wave album.OFF TOPICi was sitting ...

It's been a while! Not for a lack of caring...just a severe lack of time. Hope everyone has been well! So, I've really been digging the new Rogue Wave album. I've always been a fan, and I think this is a really solid album. They just have a really nice sound. Although, I kind-of wish it was summer time, this seems like it would be a nice summery album. I just want to roll the windows down and hi...
New Rogue Wave! "Lake Michigan" was posted on Rogue Wave's myspace page and was released in mp3 format on Spin.comI am so, to the infinite degree, excited for the new album. I saw Rogue Wave perform at a small club in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, and got a glimpse of the new material, which is sure to live up to the band's greatness... and this song is recorded proof!
L.A. rock photographer Sterling Andrews , the woman multi-tasking at the center and periphery of "Like I Needed," handles the video's set design, still photography, and stop-action directing. The backdrop she creates for the Rogue Waves has a certain gothic flair, but the band and the song are all smiles throughout. Probably because all Rogue Wave had to do was show up and look pretty.
I followed this band through the summer coverage on thier live shows and really liked their material. This band has lots to offer and keeps getting better. Haven't listned to it yet but head on over to http://www.myspace.com/transmissions to have a listen and get the new EP totally free via this site! Cheers, INdy x
