All Music GuideDang the producers of this collection, which clocks in at barely 25 minutes. This so-called best-of release omits eight of Miller's 12 Top 40 hits, including his biggest hit, "King of the Road." Instead, lackluster renditions of such nonsense as "Release Me," "Me and Bobby McGee," and "My Elusive Dreams" are included. While the collection does include such great titles as "You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd" and "My Uncle Used to Love Me, But She Died," the "best-of" excludes "Chug a Lug" and "Do-Wacka-Do." The fans of the late and great Roger Miller deserve better than this collection.
