In what seems to be an effort to stay "Forever Young" pop crooner Rod Stewart, 62 married his long-time girlfriend Penny Lancaster, 36, this past Saturday. Rod Stewart, Justin Timberlake and The Police topped the mid-term tour sales report, according to concert database Pollstar. Stewart's tour, with average tickets costing $76.93, grossed $48 million. I'll start..., I've probably listened to this album a hundred times, and I remember it was one of my orthodondists go-to LPs when i was a teenager. it wasn't until I ripped it, and then was startled to have it come up on a Dylan themed playlist I'd built, that I realized who wrote it.

Apparently, I'm 30 going on 50 courtesy of today's song, "Blind Prayer" from 1969's The Rod Stewart Album. I'm not unfond of Rod Stewart. I really wish he hadn't mangled his Tom Waits cover, and I'm not the biggest fan of photos of him in Speedos, but for the most part, I can hum along to the majority of his catalog when it pops on the car radio.
