I'm not very good at these concert reviews so bear with me here... So, last night I had the pleasure of seeing Rilo Kiley live for the first time. Kinda funny since I saw The Elected live years before seeing Blake Sennet's main band, but whatever. Benji Hughes is the first opener, but they deserve to be a headliner. Hmmm, if I were cool enough to have plans tonight or if I had friends and were invited to a party - I would have gone either as a burka clad sex kitten or a Boca Raton grandmother.

Rilo Kiley is a great group and their albums are full of rock out songs guaranteed to keep your foot a'tappin'.

It's been quite awhile since I bought a truly "new" album, i.e. completely unheard. Most albums I own are old favorites I'm replacing or have at least a few songs I have heard. So I've read tons of reviews about how fantastic Rilo Kiley is and all their records have 4 1/2 stars and they seem to have been just an instant success. Plus, a couple friends have recommended them.
