Oh gosh, another PR gaffe for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I love these guys but I really think they need to fire and rehire in the legal and PR departments - sigh.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers...what can I say that hasn't already been said? Well, I can say this: When this LP dropped in 1999 I passed it up...I didn't think they'd ever live up to the promise of their trifecta (Uplift the Mofo Party Plan, Mother's Milk and BloodSugarSexMagic), so when I got back to LA, I took my time copping a CD to check...I eventually did but a string of dark events in 2001 precipitated an on-the-fly exodus from my crib over on Cherokee Ave, just off of ... le meilleur album des red hot est pour moi californication , et le live at slane castle en donne une des meilleurs versions. dans un autre registre petite dédicace à Mlle myline Poitevin professeur d'anglais qui m'a fait découvrir les Red Hot en nous faisant étudier Under the Bridge plutôt que les textes rasoirs du bouquin d'anglais.

did you know that anthony had to fight to keep "californication" from being cut from the album during it's creation? it's a good thing he won :) he's also lost a bunch of songs that wanted to keep, including "quixotic elixir", which is a really good song ....but i'm not sure which album it would've been off of... just an interesting fact... :P

So i feel like sometimes i am truly blessed with incredible luck. I'm more amateur than you could believe when it comes to making films, but that doesn't stop me from landing an interview with Art Alexakis of Everclear for the one on which i'm working now!!! i'm so excited for this... it's so silly for some people but it's really big for me. i've met more than my fair share of celebrities and musicians but for me to interview him, this is a huge deal! on another note....... This is an amazing song--prime example of Chili Peppers' greatness...and it is beyond me why this song was rejected from Californication. I Love It!
