As the American economy continues to implode and whimper, it's somehow comforting (not really) to know Ratatat are keeping their LP3 video budget as low as the Stock Market. The NYC duo's recycled and added warped Paul Simon and Chevy Chase's "Call Me Al" for "Flynn" and recycled war movie imagery in "Mirando." This time around ABBA get the nip and tuck treatment, the danceable "Shempi" providi...

The crackling fire through the doorway behind them and their zany movements win this one for me. Thanks again to Marco for sharing this one with me. Check it out by clicking on this link, or by looking to the right.Ratatat - ...

Over the past few decades, The Metro [...]

I've been listening to a lot more radio this past month. This is a good thing. For a long while I felt like I needed to play catch up with my music collection. From the MOG-O-MATIC perspec, I've been MIA, but really I've been here all along. Baton Rouge has a fine student run radio station at Louisiana State University (KLSU) and I'm feeling nostalgic for the days of dj spaceling and the "Ampli...
