German industrial-rock collective Rammstein have kicked up a fair amount of controversy in their home country over their newest record 'Liebe Ist Für Alle Da'. As The Guardian reports, The L. P (artwork above) will be removed from display in a host of record stores across Germany due to it's offensive artwork, lyrical content and song titles.
German band, Rammstein, has released a new album, Liebe ist für alle da (Love Is There For All Of Us). It appears that the group has embraced the “new business model” tenets; get viral and offer something above and beyond, something special, for the real fans.To that end, Rammstein has unleashed a series of quirky [...]
Today (Friday, October 16th, 2009) Rammstein releases "Liebe ist für Alle da", their sixth album. "Liebe ist für Alle da" will be released as a digipack standard edition (11 tracks), as well as a special edition that...
Y’know how these days all these bands release special editions of shit in an effort to give their fans a lil’ sumpin’ extra so they’ll buy a physical copy of the album? Usually they come with a poster or a DVD or maybe a cool box or a USB or whatever.Well, this is the one [...]
Rammstein, the Berlin-based industrial metal sextet well known for their controversial and fiery live performances, returns with their first new album in four years, having signed a marketing and distribution deal in the US with Vagrant Records. The 11-song album, Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da, is slated for a late fall 2009 simultaneous worldwide launch with more details to be announced shortly. Pre...
After three very good albums Rammstein simplify things on their newest, and the payoff is huge.Rammstein certainly deserve credit for stubbornly refusing to slip into one-hit wonder obscurity in the wake of the improbable worldwide success of 1997's Sehnsucht, one of those lightning-in-a-bottle scenarios that comes along once in a band's lifetime. However, despite the tremendous ambition the Be...
By Ben ApatoffLike OZZY before them, RAMMSTEIN confirmed the lunacy of their would-be censors by being far too goofy for anyone who actually listened to their music to even think about inflicting harm. Unlike their self-serious Family Values tourmates (who acted like they were clamoring for the type of bad publicity Rammstein stumbled into,) the [...]
When I first heard the song “Pussy” off of Rammstein’s latest offering, I was pleasantly surprised even in the face of a widespread backlash against it. People have been criticizing the band for being too poppy, to which my response would be, why not? Rammstein have never proclaimed themselves to be metal despite using heavy [...]
No doubt about it. This is it.Anyone who, like myself, fell under that absolutely brutal spell that was the Gothic industrial masterpiece of Sehnsucht knows what I'm talking about. I first heard that album at a listening station at the now defunct Tower Records. It didn't take more than a minute of the opening title track and a few seconds of the following track "Engel" to know that I was h...
There’s not a big precedent for German bands succeeding in the United States, the ’80s bombast-rock of the Scorpions notwithstanding. Rammstein, however, may be the macho men to get the job done, at least in a concert setting. Decidedly Teutonic and militant in sound and lyrics–they sing in German and their commanding semi-industrial [...]Related posts:Rammstein - Mutter ReviewsWhat Are The
Yeah, I like "Rammstein":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rammstein. I was at a friend's house some days ago, and he has a tv bigger that my *^$&$, if I had one, that is. Anyways, he closed the lights, and put Rammstein's live DVD on. I thought the walls would come crashing down. Which is, ofcourse, always a good thing, music wise.If the fact that I like them comes as a shock, let me tell you that ...
Okay, need to preface ... you may keep your clothes on if you like ... I *_really don't like_* this cover ... it's one of the most far out interpretations of a cover ... Though disliking, I still think it's quite amazing (they went for it - I'm just not a fan of _their_ it) !*WARNING* there is a bit of nudity in the video below ... but what would you expect from the song title & from Rammstein ...

If this is a publicity stunt to get people talking about the band after such a long time away, it’s working. The outrageous album artwork was only the tip of the, um, iceberg… Rammstein have gone and released a 4-minute porn flick and called it a music video.“You have a pussy, I have a dick-uh! [...]
