This post may not be safe for work (NSFW)
Apparently celebrities at awards ceremony are not the only ones to get fined for dropping the F Bomb. Aaron Wilder, CEO of HTFC mortgage broker, was fined $29,000 for using the word "Fuck" 72 times in a deposition. More at Boing Boing and Portfolio.
Anyway, I posted this with this particular Rage Against The Machine song, because I think it may have broken some sort of record for having the words "Fuck You..." re... MORE

The Ghost of Tom Joad is the eleventh studio album by Bruce Springsteen, released in 1995. The album is mainly backed by acoustic guitar work and the lyrics on many of the tracks are a sombre reflection of life in the mid-1990s in America and Mexico. Tom Joad is the hero of John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath. Here is a cover version done by Rage Against The Machine Here is the original as done by the Boss... MORE

One unconscious man had to be crowd-surfed to an ambulance, while another fell from a marquee as crowds pushed forward to see the final act, Rage Against the Machine.
Organisers interrupted the American headliners towards the end to appeal to the 45,000-strong crowd for calm.
Revellers said they feared ... MORE

From The Good,The Bad, And the Unknown Blog "Millionaire writers"...that's a term you've probably heard thrown around in the past few days. "Millionaire writers" are leaving their lavish swimming pools, second homes in Cancun and personal drivers to go and protest the poor struggling studios for more money. If you've turned on the TV over the past few days...this is something you could not avoid. Well, here are some facts that are missing from that argument. The ave... MORE

The video/audio quality on this video is bad news bears, but the feeling is there. Apparently these lyrics match up to a song that Zack did for an event at the Coalition of Immokalee Workers. Either way, new material for the band.

So BRMC leaves the stage, and the people really start to pour in more. There had been a few of us that had been there all day, but now it's starting to get pretty full down in front of the stage. Keep in mind we still have 3 hours until the headlining band comes out, but we all know what's gonna go on, and yet we don't. Like I said a few days ago. I had really wanted to see Porcupine Tree. Unfortunately they were over at the second stage across the track/field, and wit... MORE

I'm not gonna make a full post about everything that we experienced at Voodoo Music Experience, let's just say that it was amazingly badass. For a full recap of the day's events check out ZZTodd. I still can't even believe I was there...seeing RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE !!!! It was almost surreal being there. The whole day I was waiting patiently, but the last ten minutes before they came on might have been the longest moments of my life. The anticipation was kill... MORE
