Part 2 - Exit Music
We had an family members birthday party to attend, which meant that if the concert were possible, I would miss The Liars. This was a sacrifice I was willing to make since I wasn't familiar with their music. So, iTunes didn't download. Argh. When I get a solid weekend, I fix it up right. I don't have the time right now, with finals and the holidays (very) fast approaching. This is not one of my favorite shows of all time and I really had the expectation that it would be on the way in - maybe that's why it turned out not to be! I remember getting my first apartment all to myself back in '99. This meant, of course, doing whatever I wanted whenever I wanted to cuz there were no parentals around, and this was exciting. Every night was a party. Nightly events included playing Kings and drinking Keystone Ice right out of the can + jamming until midnight or later. I've been travelling and away from my MOG for a few days, but I'm back now--though I'm still a little jittery after being blown away by radiohead on Saturday night in Berkeley.
