Yesterday Radiohead announced one of four winners for their Aniboom animation competition, the competition that had fans upload their own music videos for the band’s In Rainbow song "Reckoner" to the Aniboom animation site.
Clement Picon was the winner of the first $10,000 prize for his animated and evolution –inspired interpretation of "Reckoner." Originally Radiohead had intended on only choosing one victor, but the submissions were all so good the band put up another ... MORE

Pizza, dogs, skyscrapers...and Lollapalooza. It's all happening here in beautiful downtown Chicago. I just wrapped up day one of the world-famous festival, and it already feels like day three. I've been hearing Reckoner played often on our satellite radio station at work. When it comes on I feel it all. I love the way that Thom sings in his tender vocal. My favorite part is when he says the words In Rainbows. Their is such soul, depth and honesty to this performance. Reckonor always seems to inspire a smile. Umm, yeah I'm a few days late on this one, but actually I'm lucky I saw it at all. If I hadn't been glued to the damn I Love the 80's 3D I would have never even known VH1 was showing some live performance Radiohead at Midnight this past Saturday. And it was crazy good. I didn't like the way they cut it up, song, commercial, song, commercial etc.. but it was still way cool. It was really cool to see how they layer and create their sounds. Anybody else see it? Ok... so, maybe my review was a little harsh. After listening to it for a while, it's grown on me... I dig 5/6 of the 10, but it still feels like Radiohead-Brand™ Radiohead. It isn't a bad thing, I guess - but almost all the songs have parts that make me think of other songs... which is a little distracting.
