R.L. Burnside~ other October thoughts.... Beware the Jabberwocky 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

Yahweh laid the smackdown on Onan because Onan was sending his load to the floor on the sly. The punishment was tough but fair, just as one would expect from the stuffy Old Testament. Onan had the last laugh, though, because although few can live up to Yahweh's lofty example, millions follow in Onan's footsteps every day.

Was just officially introduced to RL Burnside. Where have I been? Steel guitar heaven. The kid on drums is his grandson. Awesome. Unfortunately for me and everyone else RL has passed, back in 05.

Cheers mates, I'm ending this fucked up day with 72 oz. of Bush Ice (only 99 cents for a tallboy at the gas station! what a steal!) and R.L. Burnside. Anybody else like this cat?
Possible drogging ahead...
Hi All,
Am working up a two-part story called AT THE CROSSROADS, based on 1999 encounters backstage and partying at the Byron Bay Blues Festival with Jon Spencers Blues Explosion and R.L. Burnside (sadly gone from us) in Australia.
Hope you are going to like it. Do stay tuned folks, as they say in the commercials!
