It's safe to say after all these years that R.E.M.'s best selling song is their greatest, I think. As someone who was there almost at the beginning, I feel qualified to say that Losing My Religion will stand the test of time as one of the Greatest. Pop. Songs. Ever. Tori recorded an unbelievable version of it for a POS movie called Higher Learning around the time Under The Pink was recorded. The song leaves the entire creative (if I can use that word) effort of that film... MORE

In my downloads lately, I found a copy of "Losing My Religion" originally by R.E.M (a song, and band that, I figure, Everyone is at least marginally familiar with) covered by Scary Kids Scaring Kids (yeah, another cookie cutter screamo band, but apparently they dig Cap'n Jazz, so they're cool with me). Adding it to my list of songs for a 90's covers mix, I played it for my lady figuring she'd dig it. Which, she did, however, much to my horror, she was unaware it was a cove... MORE
