RÖYKSOPP is coming! RÖYKSOPP is coming! The Norwegian electro-duo (Svein Berge & Torbjørn Brundtland) will be performing 4 dates in the States this month, the group's first U.S. tour in over 4 years! Admittedly, I hadn't really gotten into Röyksopp until this past year when their 4th album Junior, their 4th album was released. Prior to Junior, I had heard Röyksopp remixes for fellow Norwegian
The Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp invites everyone to participate in a remix contest for the track "Tricky Tricky" which they feel "has so much potential, it deserves a life outside the album". Included in the remixkit are not only the...
I almost can’t believe it!According to The Music Slut, Röyksopp is planning a tiny gig stint on my side of the globe. Granted you have to live on the West or East Coast to catch ‘em, and it’s really only four dates, but this is a rare experience! At least I know what I’ll be [...]
Not much to say here, just a great remix by international dance music kings Ministry of Sound. Part record label, part lifestyle brand, part everything these guys are doing with dance what Russell Simmons did with hip-hop. True entrepreneurs taking it to the next level. Die hard Royksopp fans are going to hate me for [...]Related posts:Royksopp – ForeverRoyksopp – Miss It So Much (Feat. Lykke

Cinematic storytelling, dynamite production by Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, and guest vocal from The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson. What else is there, indeed?
I may be biased with Lykke Li on the vocals but Miss It So Much is definitely my favorite song off of Royksopps third proper album, Junior. The production quality on this song is phenomenal, the gifted Norwegians created a wonderful ambient experience that serves as the perfect canvas for Lykke’s voice. It’s a Royksopp song that sounds like [...]Related posts:Kleerup – Until We Bleed (Fe
Ah, Röyksopp. The Norwegian duo, consisting of Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge, may be eccentric and odd but their own take on electronica is impressive. Their debut album, 2001’s ‘Melody A.M.’, was a great album that mostly had a chilled-out party atmosphere to it. Their follow up in 2005, ‘The Understanding’, was darker and a [...]
Royksopp's 2001 debut album 'Melody A. M. ' was a subtle work of genius and held a handful of memorable tracks (Sparks, Poor Leno, So Easy, Eple) that solidified the duo's talent and confirmed them as a promising new up and coming band with a brilliant debut under their belts.
Got a *_quickie_* for my fellow MOGGERS... *LOVE* this track... probably one of my new faves in the realm of covers. I even think Queens of the Stoneage would be quite pleased. It cuts off a bit too sudden at the end for my taste... but hey, *I did say it was a quickie ;)**Hope you enjoy it as much as I do !!!*h1. Anyone got a smoke ? ;P
I felt like the karate kid of the BBQ.Lid On...Lid Off...Lid On...Lid Off...Only the finest charcoal & wood chips would do.Look Amber...there is the tip of my shoe. The sun eventually made an appearance. Yeah!I like my applecider vinegar pull & slop sauce to be more tomatoey and less mustardy. I usually don't follow a traditional recipe. With fresh coleslaw, it was sooooo worth it.That's my boy...
