Just about every description I've read of this band tags them as "kooky" or "zany" or even labels them as a "novelty band." Perhaps my tolerance for these adjectives is lower than average, but I'm just not buying into it. Sure, there are a few out-there sound choices and production techniques, but Weird Al they're not.
