All Music GuideOriginally released in 1998 as a limited-edition double 10", Metananoia collects several instrumental studio jams Porcupine Tree recorded during the 1995-1996 sessions for its Signify album. These outtakes are widely considered to be some of the band's most experimental and spacious work ever. The 2002 CD reissue includes two bonus tracks, remastered sound, and expanded artwork. Included are all three parts of "Mesmer" and two parts of the title track.
