The stunning all-smiling symphonic super-group The Polyphonic Spree bought their distinctive soaring 'sections' to Sydney for their Splendor side-show. This week Austin-based collective the Polyphonic Spree released the video for “We Crawl,” another track off their latest album The Fragile Army. The video was directed by indie filmmaker Dante Harper and shows a very personal and close look at the cloaked ensemble.

That since The Arcade Fire broke huge in late 2004, lots of bands have incorporated group shout-along vocals? Besides The Polyphonic Spree and Cloud Cult, who might you add to that list?
At last I've replaced my copy of "The Beginning Stages of..The Polyphonic Spree." I had a copy a while back and then had a hard drive go wonky and when reloading iTunes from the backup one of the disks was bad and I lost several things. If you've never heard them, I'll give you some idea what they're like. Imagine ELO with a chorus and a theremin and throw in the flute from Jethro Tull and you've got some idea of what they are like. And I didn't think that was possible. Saw this show back in July. But, I'm trying to fill in my entire summer. So. You know. Bare with me. I don't know if I can fully ever encompass how fantastic that night was.
