AMG Review of Plumb
Steve Huey
All Music GuidePlumb's self-titled debut has a subtle yet definite spirituality underpinning the storytelling that drives the best of the band's songs. Equal doses of guitar-based modern ock, atmospheric sampled backgrounds, and deliberate yet danceable rhythms comprise Plumb's musical emphasis; their fairly distinctive sound generally makes up for the occasional lapse in melodicism, making the set a worthwhile acquisition for fans of alternative rock with Christian sensibilities, ŕ la Jars of Clay (whose Dan Haseltine co-produced this album).
