All Music GuideWith The One & Only, PlankEye's version of catchy, fuzzy post-grunge CCM alterna-pop comes into sharp relief. On their previous recordings, the quartet showed lots of promise, but on this disc, they display a knack for strong hooks and melodies. There might still be a couple of weak moments here and there, but The One and Only suggests what PlankEye is capable of achieving.
