All Music GuideA charming set of songs with sparse instrumentation and pleading vocals, Some Voices is a lo-fi snack that never stays in the same mode long enough to get boring. The members of Pinback fill the space appropriately, but still manage to never push into the red. A thoroughly enjoyable sample of what this group has to offer.
