Phil Woods is playing a duet here with pianist Eric Doney. Woods is playing with immense authority here. His alto sound is a wonder. If you don't know Woods, his most recognizable moment in popular music is the alto saxophone solo he blew towards the end of the Billy Joel song "I Love You Just The Way You Are".
