Peter Gabriel's latest full length album, "up" was released 5 years ago, and I've had it since then. It wasn't until recently, however, that I truly appreciated the dark, introspective vibe of it as a whole. More reminiscent of his years with the then very progressive rock outfit, Genesis (check out their albums before 1976), this album relies less on drum machines and saw synths and utilizes talented grooves, dark chords, strings, and even a kind of industrial feel. ...
