Winners Never Quit was my introduction to Bazan and really Pedro the Lion is the brainchild of Dave's. It's one thing to be a great songwriter, but a stud musician? Yeah, there isn't a whole lot Dave Bazan can't do. He plays all instruments on this album.

A while back, David Bazan (as Pedro the Lion) performed for a compilation album entitled "The Unaccompanied Voice" which featured many artists who performed sans instruments.
