Pavement guitarist Spiral Stairs AKA Scott Kannberg recently had a chat with NME and said some very interesting things about what may be released throughout the Pavement reunion. We already know that they're not planning any new material but Kannberg has given us a little sparkle of hope with words about a compilation CD featuring some early radio sessions.

It seems as if the list of Pavement reunion dates refuses to stop growing as another European headlining Festival date has been added to their swelling 2010 tour schedule. The New York dates were confirmed first, then came the ATP Festival headliner news for here in England.

Brighten the Corners is a personal favourite by Pavement , and pretty much the reason we can't all agree this is a landmark in US alt. rock is the strength of Pavement's whole career. With all the bonus tracks here, it's like getting yourself a free Wowee Zowee .

well, hey looky here, the fine folks at matador/domino have announced a reissue/re-fancy packaging of pavement's brighten the corners. been wondering when this would be coming to fruition. i guess the time is now. it sounds as if they will be doing some "buy it early" type shenanigans to entice it to actually purchasing it.
