The song Ashes is a great song, a beautiful dark metal ballad in it's original form, easily listenable by clicking the little music beacon or searching for it, but what Mog doesn't have and doesn't recognise is the Live version. When-ever I play the song, it lists it as the original from The Perfect Element album. So here is the Live version of the song from their 12:5 which is a beautiful song...

Incredible. Pain of salvation's music is passionate and thought provoking, two things which are rarely seen together in the same band nowdays. Stylistically they are difficult to tag, sometimes the distortion and screaming makes me nod my head to "Metal, F*uck yeah!", at other times I'm moved to tears by a soft spoken voice singing about something profound.
