Although Page France released ...And The Family Telephone just two months ago via Suicide Squeeze records, the group is releasing an EP on iTunes July 10th. ...And The Bonus Telephone will contain alternate versions of tracks on their last album, as well as unreleased songs recorded earlier this year. 1st post. Here goes, Riding in the wake of artists like Sufjan Stevens, Page France delivers a "non secular" album that is full of simple catchy chord progressions and hooks that are sure to make the listener give them a few plays. What I like about Hello, Dear Wind Is the Lyrical precision it displays. I've been playing this album over and over...it's simple beauty has haunted my thoughts for the last month. In a day and age, when Jesus is bashed over people's heads, and presented as a stern father figure, it's so refreshing to hear songs about him dancing while we drink his wine. Page France is a dang good band. Usually bands who label themselves as Christian can tend to be pretty lame....right now there are a few exceptions: mewhithoutYou, Anathallo, Sleeping At Last, Lovedrug (all of which i saw at cornerstone fest in illinois this summer) Page France is one of those awesome Christian bands that is so good, regardless of your faith.
