Hope everyone's enjoyed the two weeks of Summer which has just taken place. I think thats all we are going to get folks! Whilst the weather does its own thing....so do we.... Psst, I'm not dead. I'm just busy. and exhausted as hell. and perplexed with everything that's anything these days. I'm listening to Oasis (read: musical safety blanket) daily and i have to admit, refinding music that i haven't heard in years, and might not have even appreciated then. I hate the new Wilco record. They're one of my top five bands of all time and I hate the new record. I declined reviewing it for this explicit reason, and I really don't know what to tell y... MORE

Sometimes songs pop up in the strangest places that remind you to listen to songs you like. I just happened to catch the end of an old CSI: Miami rerun tonight... and they used the Oasis track "The Masterplan" over their final sequence. It caught me completely off guard, but in a good way. I haven't listened to this track in a long time. But now it's been on repeat for awhile and I felt the need to share my love of it. The strings and horns are absolutely brilliant, ... MORE
