I recently agreed to learn 5 or 6 songs off of Oasis's greatest hits for my buddy Bob, and teach them to him on guitar. Even though they are not all that hard, I found myself lost in this obnoxiously annoying voice. I listened to them as a young teen, but now I have no clue what I was ever thinking. A lot of people thing that Oasis' albums at the end of the nineties and beggining of the 00's aren't as good as 'Definitely Maybe' and '(What's the Story?) Morning Glory' but I think the lyrics are postively Noel Gallagher's best!
A lot of the songs on 'Standing on the Shoulders of Giants' are pretty brilliant anyway, but I think songs like 'Go Let it Out' and 'Where Did it all Go Wrong?' are fantastic lyrics!

This song pretty much sums up my Halloween night. San Diego goes off for Halloween. The adults are way more into it then the kids. It was fun, but my head hurts. Hope every one had a great night.

Oasis will head into Abbey Road in London to begin recording their next album on November 5th. The band have demoed all the new tracks and plan to finish mixing the album after Christmas.

Rumors have begun to surface between music insiders that other bands are planning on following in Radiohead's footsteps, after the band releases their new album In Rainbows tomorrow at a name-it-yourself-price method.

Oasis will release the digital single "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" via their website, oasisnet.com, on October 21st. Oasis' Noel Gallagher is set to become a radio DJ, reports NME .
The guitarist will be a guest presenter on BBC Radio 1 on October 24 as part of the station's 40th anniversary celebrations.
Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl will DJ on September 18, while Arctic Monkeys will take to the decks on September 26.
