I remember the day when at the tender age of 9, my family set off for some shopping in Coventry. As I was one of the new inductees into the cult of the Sony Playstation, a trip into GAME seemed like a good idea. I had £30 of pocket money and wanted to put it towards something that would bring me entertainment and wouldn't push my then-infamously short temper after being endlessly defeated by score after score of AI-enhanced opposition. At the time, I had two racing games (... MORE
First my totally non-music related MGS3:Subsistence rant - when the hell is it going to get released? I remember Amazon had it down as Dec 05 originally and even though the date kept changing, the day finally seemed to be getting closer with magazine reviews and Amazon sticking to the 01/09/06 release. Checked Amazon yesterday and now it's Oct! I'm assuming it's already been released in the US, so what's taking so long? I don't even care about the online play! (The wh... MORE
FFIX OST: Amarant's Theme - another one of my favourites, would also like to see this made into a song! Something to Protect - love this song, plus it played at one of my favourite parts of the game! It plays when Alexandria is under attack - the cut scenes were so great at that part of the game! And the story was getting good. Pity the version on this version of the soundtrack so short! Daguerreo, the Hermit's Library - ugh this is one track I hate, it's just so ... MORE
FF8 Disc 3: Drifting - it works in the game, but to listen too it just doesn't! It's a bit depressing and repetative (to say the least!) It's just a bit "ughh get on with it". A bit painful to listen to, you'll be wanting to hit the skip buttong Heresy - ...memories of Norg! I'm starting to forget how he was even involved in the story! Something to do with Cid..did Norg own the garden or something...really can't remember. That part of the plot all seems to be a bi... MORE
Finally onto the the FFIX OST. The only problem is the music only plays once whereas on the 4 disc soundtrack it loops around a couple of times, so it'd be nice for the tracks to last longer. A Place to Call Home - ahhh I love this track! It plays on the menu screen and just sounds so...medieval. Danger in the Forest - enchanting little song Battle 1 - this one's a lof of fun! Over The Hill - think I prefer this to Melodies of Life (the weakest FF theme song) Zi... MORE
