Just graduated from NYU with my Bachelors (Finally!), and I'm going to enter grad school in the Fall. I've got my summer music, a summer free of school (but not work), so why do I already feel angst? Am I afraid of leaving my full-time job to jump into grad school? I got _Zero Year_ by NIN, _Volta_ by Bjork, and _Sound of Silver_ by LCD Soundsystem. _Zero Year_ is better than _With Teeth_. I like the idea of concept album, and the fact that Reznor has returned to a mor... MORE
...this song makes me feel like I'm living in my own personal version of the classic Michael Mann flick Heat. Now this is not necessarily a good thing, and if you happen to be driving on the Mass Pike when this song come on in my car, I hope for your sake that I stay out of the zone that this song puts me into... Anyway though, while I'm not a diehard fan of NIN, I absolutely LOVE the concept album idea and to learn more about this, check out one of my favorite artists'... MORE
For those of you keeping up with all this Year Zero mania, I've decided to gather all the associated websites that I can keep up with and bunch the links together at the top of my MOG page (under "NIN Year Zero related sites"). If any of you find any that I've missed, please send them my way. I'll try and keep this up to date as best as I can.
Not only are songs being leaked, but live performance videos are too. Check this out for a video of "Survivalism" being performed live at Barcelona: Music, et al..
I haven't been by in awhile, and I nearly forget the concept of Mog. Good to be back to check in.
Really could do with some new skins though; these are getting rather dated.
Another USB drive found in another venue = another leaked track from Nine Inch Nails' upcoming album, Year Zero. It's called "Me, I'm Not."
I'm loving this marketing campaign.
I know I'm a naughty monkey for downloading these songs, but Trent seems to be deliberately leaving them for people to find. First, it was Survivalism and My Violent Heart, which aren't horribly bad, but definitely a step up from the With Teeth album. (Dear Trent, what were you thinking?) Now, we have Me, I'm Not, which I've already seen comparisons to Even Deeper from The Fragile album. Yum. Trent, you've won my heart back.
