My new favorite Nina Simone song, this incredible live version of I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl recorded live July 28, 1973 at the Royal Philharmonic Hall in NYC. You can feel the tender interplay between artist and audience. I love the way her guitarist bluesy riffs plays off her sedutive piano keys. Sit back, press play and prepare to be amazed.
Today was a crap day. I just got this flu bug that's going around. They shut off the water, again, in my building while I was getting sick.
