The record industry has changed immensely in the four years since Nelly last released an album. There was a point and time where everything he touched turned into Billboard gold, but things are a little different for the latest go round. His new album has been repeatedly delayed for the last 10 months, and all four singles (and videos) released have failed to generate much interest from the hip hop public. This post on XXL poses the question of whether or not the game ha... MORE
For some reason that I don't quite understand, Nelly's made a song dedicated to the Bay Area and their rappers. Usually this sort of thing only happens when someone wants to clear up misunderstandings and squash beef. Unknown motives aside, the song isn't something that'll blow you away but it's definitely good stuff. During the first verse Nelly flips Spice 1's style from "187 Proof". During the second verse he pays homage to Too $hort dropping numerous references. Th... MORE
Dear Nelly,
I disagree with your assertion that it's getting hot in herre. My radiator broke and it just happens to be the middle of winter, so it is in fact freezing in herre. Taking off all our clothes would just be stupid, and result in the contraction of pneumonia.

Once again... MORE

Several popular artists such as Nelly and T.I. participated in the event, with the intentions of opening lanes of communication on the matter. Unfortunately, Al Sharpton also participated in the program.

Talks are underway for rapper Nelly to host a localized version of MTV's Pimp My Ride, in South Africa. The opportunity came about after Nelly reached an agreement with South African company Mojalife to bring his Vokal, Applebottom and Pimp Juice brands to their country, Allhiphop reports. The potential deal with MTV networks could have Nelly hosting up... MORE
Texas school district bans grillz ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- The school district here has expanded its dress codes to include mouths - and earlobes. Students may no longer wear mouth jewelry known as "grillz" - shiny teeth caps - or the earlobe-stretching practice known as "gauging." "The district is having to respond to fads because they've become distracters or a safety hazard for those around them," said Malcolm Turner, the district's executive director of student s...
