Hi fellow Moggers, I found out yesterday that my new protest song HATE has now officially entered both the protest songs list and protest video list at Neil Young's Living With War Today website! My performance video is #19 (out of 420 videos) and the mp3 audio is #78 (out of 2,600 songs) This is great news for me and thanks to those of you who clicked on the links to make this possible! Neil Young has a pessimistic message: Music has lost its power to change the world. The 62-year-old singer brought his new movie, "CSNY Deja Vu," to the Berlin film festival Friday. The film was shot during the 2006 Freedom of Speech tour by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Young, who directed the movie under the pseudonym Bernard Shakey, wasn't making any big claims about its effects. Politics aside, I have not been able to get into _Living With War_ at all since it came out. I love Neil Young; I'm not a big fan of the way things have transpired in Iraq; I heard the hype; and I _earnestly tried_ to enjoy it. Either the record or my effors have come up short. The video has scenes from Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth and offers ideas on how you can do your part in helping to deter the dramatic changes the Earth is facing. The first video for After the Garden incorporates images from former US Vice President Al Gore's global-warming documentary "An Inconvenient Truth."
