....Never daring to look down...never caring to know...we pray the dimples won't rip. The Cult Of Celebrity is coin of the realm Some seek fame & furtune & find liars & frauds & friends that drool. Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend. Some pray for their fifteen minutes without fear of being hung on the cross--hairs of media sniperscopes. Working class heroes are created ...

I know this has been written about on Mog but I really wanted to post some tracks off this album. I posted one the other day on one of my podcast posts. I really loved this album. I read on Negativland's website that this album was written and composed by band member Mark Hosler. I've always enjoyed when Negativland made a "song" that resembled a song. This is a whole album of it! Pretty gre

Welcome to The Best Cuts of Music in space ace ace ace! Hosts Robe Flax and Sam Houser have wrapped up their 4 part quadrilogy. The show begins at the International Space Station and ends back on Earth with much fanfare and a gaudy outward display of revelry. We hope you've enjoyed the adventure and the ride. Tune in next week for more silliness, horseplay, mischief, clowning, monkey business, ...

To say I love Negativland would be an understatement. They're in my top 5 favorites groups evar. One of the best live shows I've seen also. I wanted to drop some tracks from their album Free which came out in '93. When I'm feeling trapped and want to break free from stresses I sometimes get the song "Cityman" stuck in my head and it makes me feel better. Their brand of noise just makes me ...

I like it when artists make their first track a sort of introduction or welcome to the rest of the album. It sort of lays down the law of the rest of the album. I also like tracks like this as they make for excellent openers to a mix CD. Do any of you have faves like this?

So yeah, We're watchin' TV last night, right? An awesome movie, dude. These idiots were trapped on an island with an escapee from a mental institution or something and he catches one of the girls and puts a cherry bomb in her eye socket and blew her friggin' head off. Than he catches one of the guys and and nails him to the basement wall and takes a chainsaw, right? And its like, an a...

I really can't stop thinking about the thought of Michael Jackson owning the rights to Eminem, Shakira, Beck and Bjork. Really don't care about Eminem and Shakira but the other two are what's driving me crazy. Since Michael obtained the rights to Beatles songs it almost seems like every commercial is using some form of a Beatles song. It's everywhere. I remember when Nike got sued for using...

Here's Negativland's video "Gimme the Mermaid". Highly recommended for Negativland fans. I laughed and I cried and then I had a paranoid attack and donned my tinfoil hat and waited for the FCC to attack.
