Looking back, it's kind of amazing that MTV played Nazareth's "Holiday" as much as they did, given that the band were really more 70's rock than anything else MTV spun Nazareth's big hit was "Love Hurts" - a 70's FM radio staple if there ever was one). MTV even used a piece of "Holiday" in their commercial promos. The band looks like a bunch of old rockers in the vid , and this was 27 years ago...
