Native Guns are a Filipino American hip hop duo from California. Based in both Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area, the group consists of MCs Kiwi and Bambu, who have been working together since they recording "Peaceful Pistols" for Bambu's Self Untitled album in 2002.     Many emcees have employed the metaphor of a woman to represent many different things. From the culture of Hip Hop itself (Common: I Used to Love H.E.R.) to the act/feeling of smoking a blunt (One Be Lo: Dro), the image of a woman has always seemed to be a natural analogy for many artists to speak on those things they feel most passionate about.
