All Music GuideJust one among many dozens of Motörhead collections, Griffin's 20-song Metal Set featured a solid, if not exactly perfect assortment of subclassics ("Tear Ya Down," "The Hammer," "Shine," "Doctor Rock," etc.) taken from this seminal heavy metal band's much abused discography. In fact, its greatest distinction may have been its pairing with a nifty book entitled The Illustrated Collector's Guide to Motorhead. In any case, copies of this double-edged release are extremely difficult to come by since the parent company closed its doors in the late '90s.
