The general mood here is one of loneliness and desperation, eloquently expressed through both the lyrics and the rhythmic, sprawling instrumentation. widespread and phish fucked up the whole connotation of the word jam. because of theme everyone thinks jamming is some rediculous thing that takes up way too much time and sounds gay...except for the people who actually dig phish and panic. anyhow id just like to point out that modest mouse got it right on their song make everyone happy/mechanical birds. goddamn they cant do any wrong.
